You don’t need millions of pounds or massive global reach to create digital marketing success. This free marketing campaign case study, from my Digital Marketing Essentials course, covers one of my own campaigns and demonstrates how, with a little bit of creativity and perseverance, you can generate value in terms of registered users, environmental awareness and cash in your bank account from nothing more than an idea, if you try.

Campaign Overview:

In 2012, I had a few months spare between client projects, so I created a mini marketing campaign to promote a range of green and ethical brands, raise awareness of environmental issues, and gather customer data at the same time. The entire Extra Ethical Christmas campaign was conceived, designed, built and delivered in less than 3 months, without any budget, using only digital marketing techniques.

Results:

Between the 1st November and 31st December the site generated 12,008 unique visits, 97,153 unique page views and gathered more than 4000 registered users.
